A rare large Derby porcelain 'pale family' figure of Minerva, wearing plumed helmet and holding her Medusa head shield to the side, her puce coloured bodice with scale design and floral sprigged skirts, on a scrolled rococo base, enamelled in a restrained palette of puce, yellow and green, circa 1758.
