A fine and rare Chelsea porcelain 'Hans Sloane' type moulded and shaped circular botanical, fruit and insect decorated plate. English circa 1755, with brown dressed edge, red anchor and numeral 3 mark. Provenance: The Amos Collection, numbered CH7, Bristol and once bearing the original collector's of Margaret Davison Block sold at Sotheby's New York on 15/04/1996. Robyn Robb England 12/11/1996 (7750 pounds). Robert Burke collection no 9.
