A fine and large Chelsea porcelain butterfly, insect and botanical decorated and moulded canted rectangular dish, English circa 1750/2, raised anchor mark now missing (By the time of the Mackenna auction sale in 1957 when it was missing). Provenance: Wallace Elliott Collection. Frank Hurlbutt Collection no 2204 where it is described with a raised anchor mark, R.D.M Burrows collection. F Severne Mackenna Collection, sold Sothebys 12 March 1957 acquired by Albert Amor. Robyn Robb England 16/06/2000 (7450 pounds). Robert Burke collection no 172.
