An exquisite early 20th century Gamet French enamel and crystal dresser casket, the slightly convex enamelled lid finely painted with an elegant courting couple in period dress, the woman holding a walking stick and the man holding a picnic basket, within a French country landscape, signed 'Gamet France' bottom right; with dore bronze fittings and enamel flowers to the corners, seed pearls and semi-precious stones to the borders, with engine turned design and stylised chevrons below. Dim, 8 x 13 x 9 cm. (damage, to top right corner of enamel on lid, stones missing to mostly all flowers)
