Ducel, Paris, second half 19th century, the plinths probably 20th century, the Classical-style vases of broad baluster shape, the body of each cast to the front and reverse with mythological scenes in relief between putti masks to the sides, the base of each with cast mark 'J.J. Ducel / Me. [Maitre] de Forges, Paris', the square plinths of classical architectural form with moulded tops and bases and panelled sides, the base of each with cast mark 'Fonderies de Tusey 1846', 197 cm high overall (the vases 84 cm high, the plinths 113 cm high)
