A K'ang-hsi Period (1662-1722) Black Lacquer Ware and mother of pearl Inlay Cup and Tray the delicate cup of square section and chamfered corners, the walls tapering above a square foot which is capped in (possibly) silver. The surfaces decorated with fine rockwork and foliage, the cup interior lined with (possibly) silver, not tested. The matching tray also with three calligraphy characters. Cup Height 3.8 cm.
