Art Deco diamond brooch, French, circa 1930, property from a private Sydney collection, of geometric design, centring an old European-cut diamond weighing 1.72 carats, mounted above a scroll plaque partially flanked by a line of baguette and claw-set old European-cut diamonds framed by an undulating plaque pave-set with diamonds bordered by a linear surround decorated with baguette and circular-cut diamonds, the small diamonds together weighing approximately 15.13 carats, mounted in platinum, width 58 mm, length 43 mm, indistinct French marks., accompanied by a GSL report numbered AA67393, dated 23 February 2023, stating that the 1.72 carat diamond is natural, J colour, I1 clarity, a T.M. Sutton Ltd fitted box.
