A large and impressive marble topped gilt wood side table, English, probably mid-18th century, in neo Palladian style, the breche marble top with projecting corners above the panelled frieze finely modelled in relief with foliate scrolls centred on an oval cartouche containing a classical seated female figure and with recessed bucrania to the ends, raised on elongated corbel form supports with foliate cross stretchers centred on a large swag draped urn finial, 95 cm high, 179 cm wide, 90 cm deep
