A rare Chinse 'Tixi' lacquer box and cover, Yuan-Ming Dynasty, 14th-15th century, 6.5 cm diameter. Provenance: The Estate of the late Alan Myren (1934-2022). Mr. Myren was a Museum assistant in the Indian section in Victoria and Albert Museum in London from 1954-64 and on his return to Australia, he established a highly respected antiques dealership known essentially for Oriental Antiques.
