Otto Wagner Jugendstil Stadtbahn hanging light; steel with original grun green paint. Original Bakelite sphere shade. Vienna/ Austria; c 1898; 90 cm high, 45 cm deep, Provenance: original pendant light from Vienna Stadtbahn (Vienna train station) designed by Viennese Architect Otto Wagner. Originally hung in Vienna for several decades and subsequently removed and stored when the Vienna Stadtbahn was last restored over 20 years ago.
