Amphora from the Ernst Wahliss works, Austrian porcelain wall plaque signed with the initials 'A.D.' almost certainly by Doebrick, circa 1907-1908. Doebrick is noted for his designs of farmers and rural scenes in relief. This example however is a much rarer scene of what appears to be a Merovingian leader in battle dress. 47 x 58 cm overall
