A fine Georgian rococo silver hot water jug by Paul Storr, 1822 London, with maker's mark for Paul Storr. Closely chased with trialing roses in bloom over nebulous C-scrolls surrounding fish-scale reserves, with gadroon edge & wooden handle, the domed hinged cover with convolvulus rose finial, engraved in cartouche under spout with Fraser-Tytler Family motto 'Occultus, non extinctus' (Hidden, not extinguished) & blazon with rays of the sun issuing from a cloud; marked on body & underside.
