A set of forty wax portrait medals of men of note, apparently 19th century, after various artists and medallists, representing 16th to 19th century men of note in various fields, each depicted in profile, modelled in relief in the manner and colour of bronze portrait medals, each with the subject's name, mounted in sets of ten within four antique frames, the medals variously 4-4.5 cm in diameter.
