A Victorian two-day marine chronometer, William Webb, London, numbered 5558, circa 1880, the silvered Roman numeral dial with gilt hands and subsidiary seconds and 56-hour 'Down / up' state of wind dials numbered 5558 and signed 'W. Webb Junr, London / maker to the Royal Navy', the brass bowl stamped 558 underside mounted in a brass gimbal within a stained hardwood and glazed inner case resting in a conforming outer case bound with a leather strap, overall 23 cm high, 28 cm wide, 23 cm deep
