An Australian earthenware figure of a lady, by Marguerite Mahood (1901-1989), dated 1935, the lady modelled in a standing pose, glancing to her right, with one hand raised toward her shoulder, the other raising the hem of her dress revealing her foot. Incised 'Marguerite Mahood' and numbered 'E1176' to edge of footrim, additionally signed and dated 1935 to base, 23 cm high, the base 12.5 cm diameter
