'Christmas Presents', circa 1925 colour lithograph poster. 'The Disabled Men's Association of Australia.' in lower margin at left. the Disabled men's Association of Australia, established in the wake of World War one had its' head office in the St. James building, little Collins Street, Melbourne. As well as establishing workshops for disabled veterans to make toys and other saleable items, the Association also published a very popular recipe book which ran to several editions during subsequent years. a gardening guidebook was also produced around the same time. This rare poster would have been prepared for use in a department store to advertise the fact that they were carrying a range of the Association's products for the Christmas season. 55 x 45 cm, frame 61 x 51 cm overall
