A pair of Chinese coromandel lacquer six panel screens, decorated with figures amongst pavilions on a black ground, the reverse with characters and cranes within a cracked ice border, each panel: 241 x 45.5 cm. Provenance: The studio of Margaret Olley, Peter Lane, Woollahra. Private Collection, Sydney, acquired from the above 2001. Other Notes: one of these screens is featured in a painting by Margaret Olley which was commissioned by the owner and remains in their private collection.
