A French opalescent and clear glass bowl by Pierre D'Avesn, Pierre D'Avesn (1901-1990), c1930s, the Art Deco shallow centrepiece bowl of circular form, decorated in moulded relief to the outer rim with three opalescent koi in a swirling formation among myriads of bubbles, marked P. D'Avesn, made in France in relief underside. Pierre D'Avesn, also known as Pierre Girre, worked as a designer for Rene Lalique for ten years and later Daum, height 5 cm diameter: 30.5 cm
