A French Renaissance revival bronze clock, Japy Freres, c1880, Lavishly cast and embellished with architectural, pierced and decorative elements in gold bronze, the upright case flanked by urns and lion masks to the sides and a ornamented pierced surmount with an urn shaped finial, the dial with enamel cartouches and Roman numerals, the eight day bell striking mechanism marked Japy Freres, with key and pendulum, height 55 cm, width 30.5 cm depth 16.5 cm
