A very fine Chinese lacquer brise fan, Qing Dynasty, 18th-19th century the fan is painted in gouache, with figures in a landscape on a red ground, the top of each stick decorated with animals and plants, guards with gilt decoration of dragons and phoenix mounted in a water gilded frame 18/19 sticks: 19 cm long, overall 33 cm wide; frame: 36 cm high, 56 cm wide.
