A sterling silver mounted claret jug, 1913 Birmingham (probably), with maker's mark for William Hutton & Sons, an elegant tapering jug with a fine diamond cut frieze above a spiral twist lower register, a plain collar and flat hinged lid with a pierced shell form thumb piece and a slender bracket handle, hallmarked to collar (assay mark rubbed) and to lid, height 24.5 cm
