An Egyptian wooden Ptah-Sokar Osiris, late period, circa 600 - 300 B.C. The classic mummiform figure displaying remnant pigments on the face and body, with a net motif running around the front and reverse surfaces using alluvial gold dust as a pigment. There are traces of alluvial gold on other areas of this figure clearly visible under the correct lighting conditions. 36.5 cm high
