A fine Victorian sterling silver and glass jug with tankards, 1873 London, with maker's mark for Chawner & Co, of medieval inspiration with a rectangular handle and segmented domed lid with finial, embellished throughout with grilles, pierced quatrefoils, studded strapwork and Tudor rose devices, the pedestal tankards conforming, hallmarked to lower strap of jug and to rim, and to lower bodies of tankards, Heights: 32.5 cm, and 15.5 cm
