A fine Empire style mahogany fauteuil de bureau, 19th century, with a solid curved back embellished with ormolu foliage decorations centred with a mask head to gently scrolled arm supports with finely cast lion's head mounts, an olive leather stuffover seat and raised on cabriole legs headed with winged lions and terminating in paw feet, with formal borders, anthemion, paterae and stiff leaf motifs throughout, height 84 cm, width 55 cm, depth 54 cm
