John Noone (photographer), Biographical charts of Italian Painters of the schools of Venice, the Venetian States, Genoa, Cremona, Mantua, Milan, Ferrara, Modena and Parma [Vol.1]; of the schools of Bologna, Florence, Naples, Romes, Sienna [Vol.11]. Compiled by direction of the Trustees of the Melbourne public library 1870. [Melbourne, John Ferres, 1867 - 72]. Two volumes, elephant folio (73.5 cm tall), bound by Ferres in full crushed morocco over boards, elaborately tooled and lettered in gilt; silk endpapers. Presentation albums compiled by the Trustees containing Noone's photographs were presented to Queen Victoria, Prince Alfred (during his visit to Melbourne in 1868), the Princess of Wales, the Princess of Russia, the Royal Academy of Arts and the emperor of Austria, among other notable recipients.
