A Wegely teapot, the lid and body decorated with flower blossoms in relief. The handle designed as a branch. Underglazed blue factory mark to base. Berlin, 1751-1773. Similar example: Hetjens Museum, Dusseldorf, note: Wegely factory founded by Wilhelm Casper Wegely in 1751, closed in 1757 when he became involved with the Meissen factory. Height 9 cm
