A Chinese hardwood sceptre inlaid with white jade, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, the silver inlaid hardwood sceptre inlaid with white jade plaques decorated with bats, peaches and Buddhist symbols, with original fitted silk brocade stand. 27 cm long. A repaired crack to the largest jade plaque and a possible hairline crack to the smallest jade plaque a repaired break to the end of the hardwood sceptre. Possible old re-glueing to all plaques. Wear and fading to cloth stand. Approximately 274 grms weight
