A Chinese documentary Canton rose medallion dish for the Islamic market, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), dated 1873, decorated with four shaped reserves to the cavetto with figures and birds and flowers, with Farsi calligraphy to the centre reading Haji Hasser, dated 1290 (Islamic calendar). 4 cm high, 22 cm diameter. Minor wear to gilding and enamels. Approximately 480 gm weight.
