A Chinese Longquan celadon charger, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), circa late 14th century, a barbed foliate-rimmed charger decorated to the centre with an impressed peony design. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, 6 cm high, 33.5 cm diameter. Broken and extensively repaired. Approximately 1974 gm weight.
