Three English armorial porcelain dishes, 19th century, the first, decorated with acanthus scrolls in the Imari palette, the centre with a horse crest painted en grisaille below the motto 'Justum Et Tenacem' for Sir Nicholas Colthurst, 4th baronet, of Ardrum, County cork, Ireland. Flight Barr and Barr factory mark to reverse (circa 1810), together with a Leonard Joel paper label for the Payne collection. The second, decorated with acanthus scrolls in the Imari palette, the centre painted with a unicorn crest below the motto 'Duw Dy Ras' for the Kemeys Tynte family of Glamorgan, Wales. Chamberlain's Worcester factory mark to reverse, circa 1825. The third, decorated with scrolling flowers, in iron red and blue, the centre painted with an eagle crest below the motto 'Spero'. Impressed Flight Barr and Barr factory mark to reverse. The John scarce collection, 24.5 cm, 25 cm and 25.7 cm diameter. Approximately 1520 gms total weight.
