It was excavated under the rice field of Shoushan river in Shoushan, Fuzhou city, known as the 'King of the Stones'. Its colour is warm and lovely, and its texture is beautiful. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has been regarding as the 'King stone of the Seal'. For hundreds of years, Field-yellow stone has significantly been admired by Collectors. As the saying goes: 'Gold is easy to get, Field-yellow stone is hard to find.' the Field-yellow stone is based on a calm and pure dark yellow colour, which symbolizes wealth and dignity in ancient Chinese culture, this field-yellow stone seal of the auspicious beast is elegant in texture.
