A Japanese Taisho Kyoyaki celadon vase, Kyoto, Taisho period, circa 1920S, the high-shouldered baluster vase carved in shallow relief with stylised abstracted peonies, influenced by the European design movement Art Deco, the whole covered in an even cool green celadon glaze. The base with a carved four character mark for Rakutozan, 27.5 cm high
