A magnificent Austrian bronze figure of an elephant with game hunters and carrying a slain tiger, circa 1900, with maker's cipher mark for Franz Bergmann (1861-1936), the realistically modelled elephant in muted cold painted colours carrying a tiger across its back, with a mahout and male figure running alongside maker's cipher to the saddle, additional marks to belly including number 1412, height 24 cm, width 27 cm
