Japanese Meiji gold lacquer silver and shibayama tray crafted in the scalloped form with a silver rim inlayed with cloisonne flowers, leading down to gilded interior each decorated with s symmetrical pattern with pearl and enamel detail. The mid section featuring two ivory panels decorated with pearl flowers, bird and character (missing), surrounded by a pierced gallery with enamelled chrysanthemums. Width 29 cm
