A set of seven provincial George III elm dining chairs, early 19th century, the set comprising an open arm chair and six side chairs, each with an arched top-rail and pierced vasiform splat above the dished seat, raised on tapering square-section supports united by peripheral stretchers, together with a similar George III oak side chair, the arm chair 96 cm high, 56 cm wide, 49 cm deep, the side chairs a little smaller
