An ornate Anglo-Indian carved sandalwood casket, circa 1900, the shaped rectangular casket with 'D' shaped ends, a stepped lid and base, and lion's paw feet, intricately relief carved with arabesque and patterned, borders, panels of deity figures and surmounted by Vishnu on a lotus throne, accompanied by a caparisoned elephant, (one elephant deficient) lined to the interior, height 30 cm, length 42 cm, width 26 cm
