A nephrite and silver ring by Laszlo Puzsar the sharp form of the ring, with nephrite set to one size, mounted in sterling silver, circa 1990, ring L. Literature: Laszlo Puzar is referenced in 'The Europeans', National Gallery of Australia, featuring 'Emigre artists in Australia 1930 - 1960', edited by Roger Butler. Margaret vine herself wrote the chapter 'Jewellers and jewellery', p191. Margaret vine reveals in 'The Europeans' in the chapter she wrote titled, 'Jewellers and jewellery: European trained, made in Australia' that Laszlo Puzlar was instrumental in the design and making of the 'Andamooka opal' (203cts) brooch, gifted to Queen Elizabeth on her visit to Australia in 1954 by the Commonwealth Government. Puzar had to promise in writing that he would not take any credit for doing so.
