A rare William Moorcroft silver overlaid Claremont Exhibition ewer, for Shreve & Co, San Francisco, circa 1905 tapering in form, green and midnight blue ground with a repeating toadstool design, the handle, base and upper body are applied with silver overlay in the Liberty manner, hand signed 'W Moorcroft, Shreve & Company, San Francisco', also stamped with registration number 363 to base. 41 cm high.
