A fine Edwardian sterling silver fruit bowl with Robert Adam style neoclassical decoration and a blue glass Liner, 1903 London, with maker's mark for John Bodman Carrington, of elegant reticulated oval shape and raised on four feet, draped with applied swags of husks and further decorated with paterae and restrained borders, crisply hallmarked underside with retailer's stamp also for Carrington, silver weight 1253gr height 15 cm length 30.5 cm width 24.5 cm
