A Chinese Jade lion, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), The beast worked recumbent with its bushy tail curled between its hind legs, its head turned to one side, detailed with bulging eyes, flaring nostrils and a pair of funnel-shaped ears, grasping a large spray of lingzhi in its mouth, two front legs hold an embroidered ball, 7 cm long.
