A cased George II set of three sterling silver tea caddies by Samuel Herbert & Co, London 1754, comprising an circular bowl and cover, a pair of vase shaped caddies and covers, all with embossed floral decoration, engraved contemporary coat of arms and bird finials, all within a felt lined fitted oblong rosewood strung satinwood case with silver loop handle, the bowl 12 cm high, 11 cm diameter, the caddies 14 cm high, the case 18 cm high, 32 cm wide, 15 cm deep, 825 grams, The arms are those of Stafford of Monkwearmouth, co. Durham
