A pair of Japanese framed scroll paintings, colours on silk, Kano Tanshin (1653-1715),Edo period (1603-1868), 18th/19th century, the pair showing classic and dynamic hunting scenes around misty pine tree and wooded areas. The first depicting archers on the hunt for deer, the second with a group hunting wild boar with Yari (spears). Both signed Tanshinsai Fujiwara Morimichi (1785-1835). 117 x 50 cm each
