A Georgian gold and gem set mourning locket, circular form. Cannetille gold work back and front. The front panel set with a floral motif, small central turquoise surrounded by six pear shaped amethysts. The back with a central small sapphire and six small turquoise beads. Applied gold beaded decoration. The interior locket compartment containing a watercolour on card depicting a young woman of the 1880's. 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1830. Suspended from a modern fox link chain. 18 carat yellow gold. Total length 445 mm. Boxed.
