An Australian Carved Blackwood Chest By John K. Blogg The stepped rectangular top centred by a carved circular medallion depicting an Australian foliate motif on a stippled ground within a geometric border, the sides, front and back showing conforming carved panels flanked by chamfered and scalloped stiles, 72 x 48 x 41 cm. Provenance: The present owner's husband was a life long friend and served with John Blogg at the Raaf Air base, Point Cook, bomber command.
