A Japanese red and gold lacquered wooden figure, early Edo period, 17th-18th century, probably a Buddhist deity representing one of the ten Kings of Hell, seated in a long pleated robe decorated with clouds and dragon designs, wearing a flared Crown, 50.2 cm high.
