A pair of Louis XVI ormolu and marble cassolettes, each with a domed acanthus moulded ormolu cover and bud finial, the tapering ovoid Griotte d'Italie marble body flanked by scrolling handles terminating in swan mask heads, hung with floral swags and further acanthus leaf decoration, raised on a gadrooned and reeded ormolu socle and square marble foot with conforming applied decoration.
