A Victorian sterling silver tea pot maker's mark R.S, London 1852, the compressed ovoid body raised on scrolling shell feet centred by a cartouche with engraved armorial enclosed within chased, engraved and embossed floriate decoration, flanked by a leaf capped scroll handle and feather capped spout with rocaille terminal, rising to a gadrooned dome cover surmounted by a rose finial, 882 grs.
