A Carlton Ware temple pattern float bowl, circa 1925, of circular form, painted with a central gilt and enamel scene showing pagodas, prunus trees and figures at the edge of a lake on a terracotta ground, the matt black rim painted with a gilt filigree border interspersed with enamel cartouches depicting temples, the exterior decorated with further foliate vignettes, printed black crown and swallow factory mark and pattern number 2880.
