An Ivory Miniature Inset Gold Mounted Card Case Early 19th century Of hinged rectangular form, decorated to one side with a miniature of a lady with pearls in her hair, wearing a lilac dress with a rose, within a floriate decorated oval gold frame, the reverse set with an oval guilloche enamel panel relief decorated with mother of pearl, seed pearls and cut steel, showing an urn beneath a tree, the cover embossed souvenir d'amitie, the whole set with fourteen carat gold mounts, 8.8 cm high.
