A fine pair of French gilt and silk upholstered fauteuils with associated footstools, of typical form the carved showframes with shell crests and foliate forms to the arching top rail, similarly decorated to the shaped apron, with serpentine squabs and raised on cabriole legs with whorl feet, the generous footstools of conforming design; all superbly upholstered in buttermilk gold silk jacquard, height 107 cm.
